  • Currently, the Horn of Africa is in a dreadful food crisis, which the U.N. estimates 2.5 billion dollars are needed for the humanitarian response.
  • The Kenya Dekadal Food Security Monitoring revealed that 3.75 million people are presently food insecure due to long rain season
  •  Every 3.6 someone in the world dies due to starvation, 75% of them are children
  • 43% of African -American children are chronically hungry

  • Half of the world's hungry population is in the Indian subcontinent
  • 40% of the world's starving population is Africa and Asia
